When I wrote yesterday that we’d be in the Swedish archipelago all summer, I should have said home base will be Sweden all summer (at least). Today I set up my temporary office in the attic of the house we are borrowing. My office window, as you can see below, has views which surpasses the view from my bedroom.

The trees in the foreground are cherry, plum, and pear trees. The dock in the middle picture is where my borrowed boat is tied up. Here are more pictures I’ve taken in Bullandö.

Since July 8 and for the rest of the summer, at least, we’re in the Stockholm archipelago at Johanna’s grandparents’ summer cottage. The little town we’re in is called Bullandö (we live at the very end of Bullandövägen). So far the weather has been beautiful, I have a 15ft dinghy with a 30 horsepower engine, and my soccer skills are steadily increasing.

Below is a picture taken from our bedroom window around noon two days ago. Nai and Jax share a room with the same south-southeast view to wake up to every day.

Yesterday, we attended the wedding of my cousin Jessie-Sierra and her new husband Jon. Naomi and Jaxon were honored to be flower children. We say again to the new pair: Mazal Tov!

The wedding was held at 60 State Street in Boston, which had wonderful views of Boston and the Harbor.

I met Henry, he was 4 days old. He’s awesome.
