Our New Apartment in Stockholm
After I received my permanent residency visa earlier in the month, Johanna, the kids, and I have moved into an apartment in the Vasastan area (or Vasastaden) of Stockholm. I know the neighborhood well because it is about a mile from the office I worked at for a couple years in the late 90s. Without a doubt, it is my favorite neighborhood of Stockholm. The exact address is:
Hagagatan
11347 Stockholm, Sweden
On this Swedish map site, you can see street view pictures.
Our apartment is in a charming old building, built around the turn of the last century, with high ceilings, big windows, and lots of light when the sun occasionally decides to shine this time of year. It has only one real bedroom and one large dining room that will be a make-shift bedroom. I’ve spent the last 3 days moving our belongings by day and screwing together Ikea furniture by night.
If you’re in the Stockholm area, or would like to come check it out, please let me know. You may not get a private room, but I think we have plenty of room for guests to be comfortable.
